The company was founded in 1958 and mainly engages the business of manufacturing and researching mechanics. It has a long history of making small-size threshers and small-size boat-used gearboxes. The annual productive capacity is over ten thousand sets of the said products, which have a certain effect in the markets both in China and in countries in the Southeast Asia. The company now is the unit of deputy chairmen of an executive council of fields farming machinery under the China Agricultural Machinery Industrial Association, and the unit of group leader of the State Thrasher Industry. The main products made by the company are as follows: TDG-400 Small-size Thrasher; 5TZ-100 Axial Flow Type Thrasher; 120 Type Combine Harvester; Seeds Cleaning Machine; WL4 Type Digger and structural components of engineering machinery, etc.
Zhenjiang Shenglong Machinery manufacturing Co., Ltd. has a certain superiority of manufacturing mechanic products in China. The company now has an assets over RMB￥50 million and a new plant with an area over 33,000m2 of which 15,000 m2 is the building area. It has over 200 skilled workers and over 200 sets of such equipment as metal cutting and processing machines; press tools and welding machines, etc. The company has powerful machining capacity of mechanic products and suitable labor costs. After years of marketing, the company has formed a solid marketing channel in the East China area, especially in the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. The company also has a Technical Developing Department, which comprises of 25 medium and senior technicians who can proficiently use computers to improve the products' technical performance and meet the requirement of mastering new products' processing methods. It has equipped relevant measuring and testing instruments together with inspectors to overall carry out the Quality Control Criteria of ISO9000 hence to well control and ensure the products' quality. The company's new plant is located at the joint where the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway meets the 312 National Highway in the city of Zhenjiang. The company is located at the Changjiang River Delta area where is a developed economy area and an area with obvious superior territory conditions. The cost of transportation by highway, railway and waterway is lower.
